Would you rather?

Would you rather lose all of your money and valuables or all of the pictures you have ever taken?

I think I would personally rather loose all my money as I love looking through all my pictures and reminiscing about old times and I also enjoy looking through photos and seeing family members who are no longer with us. I know I have memories stored in my brain but I love having the physical memories as there are always thinks you forget that happened.

Which would you rather?

Take Back Tuesday – Exeter

Just before Christmas I visited Exeter for the day, I have never been to Exeter before, but my friend was born there and always said how nice it was, so I had always wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

The first thing that we did was going shopping – they have a massive amount of shops including my favourite Urban Outfitters so that instantly won me round. There are lots of mainstream shops but also a lot of independent ones so there is a good mix of shops available to look in. there was loads of café, bars and restaurants to go in all around the city.

The German Market was also on when we were there which made me like it even more as there was a great Christmassy feel to it. The city did not seem busy for a city if that makes sense which is why I think I enjoyed it so much. There is a lot to do but not the overwhelming business that puts you off cities, so it was very enjoyable.

We walked alongside Exeter Quayside and look in the cute little shops along the waterfront. I could only imagine how nice it must be down there in the summer.

The city is very vibrant and has a lot going on and if I had my choice again, I would definitely look at going there if I could as it seem like the perfect place for students.

I would highly recommend a trip to Exeter if you get the chance.

Take Back Tuesday – Dawlish

About a month ago I went down to Devon and visited a place called Dawlish. I stayed in a really cute hotel right next to the beach which was lovely. I had a lovely hotel room and the breakfast the next day was delicious. I only stayed in Dawlish for one night, but I managed to see all the sights and have a little wonder around the town and even have a go on the arcade.

The one strange thing about Dawlish is that there is a train track running along the beach separating the town from the beach. The beach is not massive, but it was so nice to see the sea at this time of year even if it did rain quite a lot. We walked along the beach and enjoyed throwing pebbles into the sea.

There are a few places to eat in Dawlish, we ate at a Chinese restaurant just of the beach front. The food was really nice and would recommend going there as the gave very generous portions.

I have never been to Dawlish before and I would like to go again in the Summer so I can see the town at its best. I really like Devon and I hope I get to go back in the summer to see more of the sights.

Christmas Game Favourites

On Christmas day once all of the family have finished their Christmas dinner the only think to do next if to play some Christmas games. I love playing games with my family as we do not get the chance to do it that often these days and it bring out our competitiveness that we use to have when we were younger. These are 5 of our favourite games to play:-

Christmas Film Favourites

One of my favourite things about Christmas is watching Christmas films. When it is cold outside I love nothing more than getting cosy and watching a Christmas film. Over the years I have watched many Christmas films but here is a list of a few of my favourite ones:-
1- The Grinch
The Grinch is one of my most favourite Christmas films so much so that every year for Christmas my mom buys me Grinch Christmas pyjamas. If you haven’t seen already Primark always has really nice Grinch pyjamas. I have always loved watching the Grinch as it is a good feel good film and I usually leave this to watch on Christmas Eve Night.
2- Annabelle’s Wish
Annabelle’s Wish is one of those films that nobody else has ever heard of. It was a film that I was brought one Christmas when I was younger that I loved so much that I make sure that I watch it most years even now. It is a cartoon film about a cow called Annabelle who wants to be a reindeer. It is a super cute film for young children.
3- Home Alone
I think everyone loves to watch home alone at this time of year. Its one of those films that I never actually think about watching but I always find it on TV somewhere and end up watching it. This films also reminds me of my childhood.
4- Miracle on 34th Street
Miracle on 34th Street is the must see film this time of year. I love to watch this film and often watch it more than once. It is the perfect film to put you in the mood for Christmas.
5- The Holiday
The holiday is not always the most typical Christmas film but it is one of those films that I really enjoy watching over the Christmas period because it is very light hearted.
6- Jack Frost
I have watched Jack Frost every year since my sister was brought it one Christmas when we were younger. Even though it starts off really sad; it is still a really great family film to watch.

There are many more Christmas films that I love but these are the ones that I make sure that I watch every year to get me in the Christmas spirit ready for Christmas day.
