Take Back Tuesday – Glastonbury

On Friday I went to explore Glastonbury; I have always wanted to go to Glastonbury festival but so far have not been lucky enough to go. A family member suggested going there when the festival was not on as the town is such a lovely place and there are quite a few unique shops to look around.
So we planned to travel down on Friday and see what Glastonbury was all about. We got there about 10.00am and we were instantly met with really cute unique shops to look in. There are definite hippie vibes in Glastonbury and it is such a welcoming environment. There are quite a few differently places to get food and sit outside and just enjoy the lively town. There are load of alley ways off the main street with lots of craft shop and crystal shops. Glastonbury is quite a spiritual place and there are lots of places you can go for psychics readings or healing readings. There is a goddess temple which we went in and it was quite a unique experience.
After looking round the shops and enjoying some food we decided to walk and go and find The Tor. Here is a picture of The Tor:-

From the town it looking really far away but once we started walking and found directions to it we realised it wasn’t far at all. Once we made it to the top the view was amazing and we spent a good hour at the top admiring the view and enjoying the sunshine. At the Top of The Tor there was swarms of ladybirds flying around. I have never seen anything like it, there was literally 1000’s of them flying around. At one point I think there was about 25 of them on me. It was an amazing sight to see but I have no idea what makes them all gather up there or whether there are always a number of them up there or whether it had just happened that day.
Afterwards we enjoyed some lovely food in a nice cosy pub before heading back home. I absolutely loved Glastonbury and would recommend going to have a look around. I now would like to go even more when the festival is on so hopefully one day I will manage to get some tickets.

Faery Festival – Llangollen

Yesterday I never got round to writing a new blog as I went to Llangollen in Wales for the day and didn’t get back until pretty late. I had been told that this weekend they were having a faery festival in Llangollen. On the website it looked like it was more aimed at children so I was a bit unsure at first as to what to expect or I would enjoy it. I have been to Llangollen quite a few times before and have always enjoyed it so I knew that even if we didn’t enjoy the festival we would still enjoy looking around the town and seeing the sights. Also I love a little road trip listening to some tunes or a podcast so who was I to complain. The weather was a lot nice than it had been for the last few days so it was nice to be able to get outside and enjoy it.
The faery festival was way more than what I was expecting. They had loads of stalls with various gifts, trinkets, foods and clothes and even had activities for kids. They had a separate section where you could enjoy psychic readings, reiki healing, Indian head massages, back massages and reflexology. There was absolutely loads to do and I really enjoyed wondering around the different stalls because there was lots of stuff there that I had never seen before.
I decided to have a psychic spirt reading as it has been a while since my last reading and I didn’t know they were going to be there. I never actively seek a reading but if I am drawn to it on a random day then I will have one. The reading I had involved the lady drawing my spirit while she did the reading. I had never had a reading like this before but it was really interesting and enjoyable. My reading was really reassuring that everything was going in the right direction and I even found out that my spirit was named Mandy.
A lot of people were dressed up as fairies at the festival and by the end I was even wishing I had some elf ears to wear too. I had a really good day and would even be tempted to look out for it next year.

Mind Body Spirit Wellbeing Festival

I went to the Mind Body Spirit Wellbeing Festival last year and have just received and email advertising this year’s festival so I am hoping that I can get tickets to go again as I really enjoyed it.

There was lots of stalls to look round with lots of different treatments, art work, clothing and accessories. I had a palm reading, colour personality test and tarot reading done and each one was really interesting because there were a lot of things brought up that I had never even thought about.  There are loads of this to try and it is the perfect place to learn about all the different treatments available.

I had a psychic reading as my final treatment at the wellbeing fair and they used tarot cards as part of the reading. This has to be my favourite reading so far because she talked about my grandad who is no longer with us. At first I was sceptical but at the same time it was quite nice to think that he might have been the spirit talking to her. The more the reading went on there were lots of things that she said about my grandad that she wouldn’t have known. There was other areas of my life that that she talked about but they didn’t resonate with me in the same way as when she spoke about my grandad. There is no way that I can prove what she said to be true but it is nice to think that it could be and it made me really happy.

Before I went to this festival I had only had one psychic reading before and I had found it really interesting. I think there is always parts of the reading that you relate to more than others and you can choose to take from the reading what you like. The one I had previously was more about my career and relationship and that current stage of my life. A lot of it was very accurate and the lady who gave me the reading was really nice. I only picked her because in the room full of psychics she was the only one to have a dog with her so I thought she can’t be that scary if she has a cute little dog.

I never plan to have a reading but if I am somewhere and there is a psychic there and I am in a curious mood and I like the look of them then I will have one. I am starting to crave another one so I’m hoping it won’t be too long before I stumble across a psychic on one of my adventures.
